He gets consistently out coached by the Bruce webers, tubbys of the world.

He is an amazing team builder and developer but is below average at in game coaching.

first off, clown statement.

2nd - Tubby has a natty, he is not a bad coach

Yeah and he got fired at Kentucky and Minnesota.

This wasn't one of his Kentucky teams either. It was a very under manned tech team.

If you can't support this, and if you could you would have, it's time to log off and go to bed.

Kruger is a FANTASTIC coach and we are lucky to have him...that being said...he's easily had his worst end of game coaching jobs the last 2 games...just can't allow a team to go on a run like that at the end of the game and your up 2 scores under 4 to go...just poor end game coaching...that being said...we wouldn't be ranked #3 in the county without him...expectations am I right?

Tubby is a great bball coach but not much of a recruiter though. Lon just has no freaking bench and our guys are freaking dead ass tired.
Lattin is such an offensive liability it's comical. You don't shoot in the 30s an win many games either.

I wouldn't have called that last timeout when Lon called it. Other than that, completely disagree with the OP. Both sets he called at the end were winners. We just didn't execute on the last one.

Kruger and Smith are very similar coaches.

Both are good program guys but will never recruit good enough players to win when it counts in the NCAA's.

I said the same thing earlier this year. the program is in great hands with LK and i've come to terms with the fact that he has his strengths and weaknesses just like everyone else.

The reason Tubby won lately is because he is able to develop Ross into a formidable post. If we have Ross, we might be at the top of the conference now. There are only 6 games remaining on the regular season and we don't even have a post presence. What did this say about Lon developing post player? The reason Weber is able to beat Lon the last few time is because he knows Lon post players are not physical inside.

I've actually been impressed with their talent this year. Good looking olayers

Kruger is a very good coach, but he hasn't been too great in his attempts/results regarding getting us out of this funk we are in over the last 3 weeks.

I'm struggling to see how the last play call was a winner..

Besides the obvious (we lost), there was no effort to get buddy loose off a screen and then the lob to Lattin? Lattin should never touch the ball in that situation unless it's off a put back.

Read my post again. The set was a good one. Lots of options, including Buddy. Plus it was the reverse set from the previous successful possession but run differently. We didn't execute the lob, the finish, or putback the miss from perfect rebounding position, another part of the design. I have no issue with the set.

Offensive execution, defensive rebounding, and shooting is killing us right now. Coach's decisions at the end of games is not.

My initial thought is that seems like a big overreaction.

Again Bruce weber is 6-2 against Lon at Kansas state. Those are the facts. Do you think Kansas state has a better program/better talent than Ou? How can you explain that lopsided record?

And OU has won five straight from texas. Do you think OU has a better program/better talent than texas?

Sometimes one team just has the other team's number for a span of time. It happens in every sport.

It's a strange little anomaly but that's it. Matters as much to me as the issues Bill Self has winning in Stillwater.
