I didn't bring them into the conversation. You were already discussing them. 4s are typically considered bigs, and clearly that's what the other poster was referring to.
Hill and Groves were our starting bigs last year. How dysfunctional is your brain to think that's an abstract comparison to make?
There's a huge difference between not having a spot like Noland in the rotation of a 15-17 team behind guys that are transferring to medicore mid-majors (or worse) vs these guys at Auburn that are backing up NBA and all-conference guys. Talk about clueless.
I didn’t discuss them. Someone else specifically said he didn’t play because they had a stacked rotation of 4-5 bigs. I pointed out that they actually only had two good front court players, and you then cited these two and their recruiting rankings and said Hill would have had a hard time finding time in their rotation. And if you think Jalen Hill, a guy who averaged nearly 10 points and about 5.5 boards and played elite defense, couldn’t have cracked that rotation ahead of two stiffs who can’t play dead, I don’t even know what to say. And my point about recruiting rankings stands. It would be like referring to a kid’s 4.0 high school GPA when he is set to graduate college with a 1.5.
