Can anyone share with us the reason why he is making this transfer?
I got this second hand from an administrator. A few weeks back they had a "shooter" scare of some sort at NN. Apparently after that died down, he made a video that appeared on Facebook/Twitter or one of those social media things holding a gun and saying, "who's gonna be the shooter now", or something of that nature. Apparently given the choice of suspension for the remainder of the year or transfer. Now don't go bet a million bucks on this, again, it was second hand and sketchy. Can anyone share with us the reason why he is making this transfer?
Hard to see this as anything but bad news.

When kids start transferring around it's often the credits that get lost in the shuffle. Their academics take a backseat and they finish high school "graduated" but not cleared by the NCAA.Why?

Maybe Sunshine (whichever one) does a better job at it than others, but I'm still gun-shy from the Buford fiasco last year to not lump all of these academies into the same basket.
Heck, look at all the trouble kids in the Metroplex had when transferring into and out of Prime Prep.
I see your point. But, like you said hopefully Sunrise has a better track record.
