His team is playing in the playoffs tonight. You can watch it on the Fox Sports Southwest website at 8:30. If they win they'll be on TV tomorrow night... He seems to be the ghost of this year's signing class, be a chance to see him.

Jamuni's team leads at halftime 24-22. McNease has 16 first half points. Not sure about his rebounds or blocks.

I'm taking all his stats and I'll have a full report, if wanted...

Lost 52-41. Jamuni did not score in the 2nd half. Looked pretty emotional after the game.

Allen lost by like... 11 or 12. I was laser focused on McNease trying to get his stats. After the first half I was ready to proclaim him a Mickey D's All American. He was on fire. And by on fire I mean he scored the first 11 Allen points... But in the second half he pulled a major disappearing act. Now, not completely his fault. I don't know what kind of offense Allen runs but it sucked. Their players do alot of standing around. They are the worst rebounding team i've seen, at any level. Anyway, here were Jamuni's stats:

FGs 7-11 FTs 2-5 Rebounds 5 offensive 7 defensive 1 steal 3 turnovers 1 block 2 dunks, and he won the jump ball easily...

FIrst may I say high school basketball is incredibly hard to watch. I've been starved to find out any info on McNease, that's the only way I could focus on a game like this, this closely. No shot clock, are you serious? Converse Judson took the air out of the ball some even in first half when they were behind. But in the second half, if you are ahead all you have to do is sit on the ball.. Excruciating.

After watching Jamuni and hearing about how raw he is, and even after the second half, I believe all he needs is COACHING. I thought he'd have gotten more blocks but he was pulled away from the basket alot. I think he could be a rim protector. His wingspan is incredible, and may even be longer than Bennett's. Of course, he's extremely athletic.. Had an oop and an inside massive slam. His upper body is fairly developed for high school, but his lower body nees some beef. Yes, he will need to gain some poundage for sure. In the first quarter he showed some real nice touch around the glass, which I wasn't expecting... He was active and showed TONS of talent and potential. He was dominating his counterpart, the coach's son for the other team, forgot his name. Allen has another decent guard named Rutherford that may be recruited I would assume next year.

So, sorry about the scattershot report but just trying to get all my thoughts down. After watching this game, Jamuni showed flashes of dominance, and worlds of talent. I think Kruger got a steal to be honest. I haven't seen Lattin play, but Mcnease is better than I thought. He seems also show flashes of immaturity in his attitude.. Another thing Kruger and co can fix. I can't wait for this guy to get to Norman, hit the weights, and get leaned on by Spangler and Bennett.... I don't think I can watch another high school game like that again! Geeminy..

Thanks for the report! Damn it, what a run they had though, after finishing 3rd in district. That team had a lot of heart. Great season for Allen!!!

Great job on the report, Stikboy! This is the first real look we've had of Jamuni through the eyes of someone who was at court side during one of his games. Is he a player who could contribute this fall if he continues to improve, or do you see a redshirt season in his future?

In your opinion, are the reports that he's 6' 9" to 6' 10" correct or a bit of a stretch? I read somewhere that he has an 84" wing span. If his listed height and wing span are accurate, he could develop into a shot-blocker deluxe down the road a ways. Sounds like he needs to put some weight on his frame first, though.

Your efforts on our behalf are appreciated!

No problem Ada. I wasn't actually there I watched a live stream on my laptop. He is a good looking athlete that passes the eye test. He is long and tall. I, too, am trying to get a handle on how tall he is. The webcast listed him at 6-8. OU's official writeup lists him at 6-9. I've seen a couple of other publications say 6-10. I kept trying to compare him when he stood next to the guy who he was guarding who they said was 6-9. I couldn't really ever get a bead on it, as Jamuni always had his hands on his knees at the FT line. I'd say he is at least 6-8 and if you said he was 6-9 i'd believe it. You know, he does need to gain weight but if you flip around college basketball tomorrow you see alot guys his size/frame/build. Do I think he has the talent to contribute next year? Absolutely I do. If he redshirts I believe it will be mostly because of Bennett's progress, not anything against him(Although he does need to mature some between his ears too it appears). He will need to get alot tougher, and again HS basketball is so undisciplined. If Kruger can get him in there, get some "mud in his blood", and get accustomed to some of our vets leaning on him and pushing him around, he can play next year. He seems alot like Bennett right now, but in the game he showed a couple of scoring moves that Bennet hasn't shown... I felt like in the game tonight if Allen just would have gotten him the ball on the low block he'd have scored 30 with an inside of 5-6 feet off the glass game... I'm not saying he's a Randle back-to-the-basket but he showed some confidence down low early. He sure can throw it down... I'm very excited about his future.

Everything you've said seems to fit what I have read before. He's raw offensively, but he has a huge upside. If he's another gym rat like most of the players on our current roster, he could develop into a good one in time. We already know what our coaches can do with a kid who is willing to work hard.

Thanks again for the report! I'm out of here. It's past my bedtime. ;)

When I saw him play a couple weeks ago, I stood near him before the game. He looked every bit of 6-10 to me. But one inch really doesn't matter much with who you're matched up with in a game. I say no way he sits next year, he will play.....

Thanks for the nice report on McNeace. I agree that HS games can be hard to watch sometimes.

No problem. I now pass the baton back to you for the REAL reports this summer... ;]

I'm really interested to see how he does with similarly sized athletes(OU) who are stronger and get after it. I feel like even in the first half last night he used only a pinky's dose of his overall talent... I hope he's a hungry kid like our current gym rats.
