Trae is out indefinitely in concussion protocol.
 
Trae scored 30 and 11 assists in his return tonight. Came up against Luka's 73 points though. Mavs win 148-143.

It’s absurd how good NBA players are. The Hawks doubled and face guarded him the entire fourth quarter, but he would find the open man and his teammates would make open shots. He actually passed up some shots he would have been justified taking to try to get to 80.
 
dude puts up 70 and gets passed before he even plays another home game. luka’s efficiency was insane. edited to basically say, kobe’s 81 might not be untouchable as once thought.

He was gassed the last 10 minutes of the game still scored 13 points.

I LOVE watching Luka. He's a basketball technician. If he ever gets any sufficient front court help, he could win multiple titles....

I'm starting to wonder if Wilt's number is now within reach. Booker had like 50 midway through the 2nd quarter.

You don't see a ton of force feeding anymore like you did with Wilt or even at times with MJ/Kobe in their eras. Luka only shot 33 in his game last night. Which isn't really a ton when you think about it.
