Looks like I'm going to be driving from Dallas to Tulsa during the game. Sucks.

Ashville was pretty scrappy most of the first half. But Nova got some open 3s and opened up a big lead.

Well this could bust a lot of brackets. Middle Tennessee State leads Michigan State 20-10 midway through the first half.

Oregon State leads VCU

VCU is running away with it. Mid Tenn is impressive. Looking like we did early in the year with all these 3s.

Go spartans!

Really? I couldn't be more pleased about MSU losing. In large part because I find Izzo to be smug and I think they tend to get a lot of the benefit of the doubt in national coverage of their program. Maybe a first-round loss will cool the media's ardor for them just a little.

And earn Buddy a few more POY votes (unless the deadline for those has already passed).

In 7 of the previous seasons MSU had gone at least to the sweet 16. With a couple final fours in there. They were 19-15 in the only year they didn't advance. So this is kinda shocking for an Izzo team.

Reverse psychology!

I hoped for this a week ago, wish I had a bracket to prove it, but enjoy the ultimate tourney team going out in first round
