Next year's starting line up

Dude needs to eat a couple of cheeseburgers.

Chicken fried steaks. This is Oklahoma. Kids who grew up here - like Spangler, Blake, Jordan Woodard or Kevin Bookout - are bulkier because of them.

McNease, Lattin and Freeman, there's a Del Rancho on West Lindsey.

I've changed my guess.

PG-Strong or McGusty Jordan just like this year
SG-Woodard
wing-James
PF-Freeman
C-Lattin

Buford, McNease, Grandstaff, Doolittle and Odomes are all probably in the mix.

Don't expect AK to return.

If this is the group I hope they put that rebounding lid or whatever it is on top of the rim all offseason and those guys practice rebounding rebounding rebounding.

So, you think we should go back to the "Bubble Drill?" I wonder if the bubble is in a storage room somewhere or did Kelvin take that with him?

PG - Graduate transfer
SG - Woodard
W - McGusty
PF - Buford
C - Lattin

Bench - James, Grandstaff, McNease, Manyang

Gary mentioned PG, I think he was kidding!

Yeah John isn't starting from day 1.

I haven't known Gary to kid like that. I have found him to be extremely reliable. If he said it and it was not clearly in the context of a joke, I would suggest he meant it and it was accurate.

Not going to happen but what i would like, 2 rim protectors.
Woodard
James
Buford
Lattin
Mayang

I seriously doubt that is the starting line up but we might see it at times. That is a big lineup for college.

I didn't take it as a joke either. If we're wrong, maybe Gary will let us know.

I wasn't all that surprised to learn that Freeman is getting a look at running the offense in practice. I think some here are underestimating his skill set. I have been saying since before he arrived on campus that he has unique skills for a guy his size. He is also said to have a great work ethic, similar to Buddy and Isaiah.

If his ability to dribble, pass and shoot is as good as I believe it can be with a little more work, nothing he does by the start of next season will surprise me.

Strong at PG-Jordan plays so much better off the ball
Woodard and James at 2/3
Lattin and McNease not likely to both start, especially in manyang isn't back, I'd bet buford starts at 4 and lattin at 5. Freeman could make some noise at 4.
Grindstaff will play a lot once eligible, as I hope will also odomes, money backs up lattin.
Mcgusty don't know much about

I think Jordan plays equally well at both spots.

It's easier to shoot the ball when you're off the point though.

It'll be interesting to see how they use him. My hunch is PG.

If James doesn't start, I'll be shocked!

I think he's your leading scorer next year.

Christian James is going to start or we are going to be VERY VERY good

I think James has a lot of potential but I don't know what he has done to have this much confidence in him. Making wide open 3's are nice but Buddy and Cousins are gone so he won't get those open shots like he did this year.

The 4 guys I know that will start is Woodard, McGusty, Buford, and Lattin. The 5th position is up in the air. It might be James. I think you all need to start buying into McGusty and how good he is going to be.

As for leading scorer, don't forget about Woodard.
