Appears that the whole JUCO thing has changed since the days of Swoops. Seems that many more players qualify academically for Div I and don't have to go through JUCO.

Yep. But, I am curious as to how all those girls got to Odessa.

Norm's board is far more informative and Spock and other informed, knowledgeable nice folks are over there and none of us EVER have a hard letter, let alone harsh words.

IMHO, Syb has destroyed this board for all practical purposes. There is nothing really informative here that I don't read a week before on Norm's site or other non-partisan boards.

I notice that one of the Odessa players signed with Memphis, and it says she was ranked as the #8 JC player in the nation??? Really? Did you see a #8 quality player on Lemon's team?

I looked a bit further into this. Julian McDonald, a F from Toronto, Canada, who, according to Raoul, Memphis is saying was the #8 JC recruit in the nation was on the Odessa team with Lemon. I was looking at taller players to see if there was anyone that Lemon might want to attract to OU. I barely noticed McDonald. She averaged 9.6 PT, 7.2 rebounds per game for Odessa.

Has Coale officially announced that Lemon is coming to OU? Gregory and Scott are on the roster for next season, but she is not. Maybe since school just started Monday at OU they have not had time.

I see Liz is listed at 6’2, if healthy I can’t see why she wouldn’t start over Bloom who is 6’3.

If Liz is really 6-2 she appears to be a smaller but more athletic version of ViVi. Too bad we don't have a good 6-4 or 6-5 to go with her. So I guess we may be half way to where we need to be inside.

I think she has to enroll to be listed. I don't know if she is enrolled for summer school. She may be finishing her JC requirements.
