**Official OU vs North Carolina Central Game Thread**

Nick Thompson would not play starter minutes for any OU team the last 20 years, except maybe last years

This team just can't shoot...maybe the worst shooting team I've seen at OU in a very long time...

Sooners down 51-55 with 3:05 left in the game

Nick Thompson isn't playing that bad. Pledger is awful tonight, we have no point guard at all that's really hurting us. Nick Thompson may be the best passer on the team and he's a 4.

Nick Thompson is 0-9 from the field... Cade Davis 1-9. These two guys are starters and play 33+ minutes per game.

I don't really feel like we played bad tonight just can't buy a basket.

Are you kidding me? We have played like crap.. Defense looks like a dang middle school and they have no idea how to attack this zone

I don't see why we have stuck with the same thing through the entire 2nd half; at least that's what it feels like. Admittedly, it doesn't help that we're having one of the worst shooting nights I can remember.

More gym practice for Landon. He's the only player on their team who has a decent outside shot and they are letting him shoot the ball like he was wearing sweats.

This is nothing like any of Sampsons teams.

Some of the more offensively-challenged Sampson teams...like the one that got slaughtered by Temple and barely broke 40 in the NCAA...at least those teams could rebound and play D...not all of Sampson's teams were like that, but there were several years where his team's could not shoot either...

You know what, I'm glad we freaking hustled and played hard.

We are just dumb and can't shoot.

Keep Newell in and sit either Cade or Pledger.
Pray for Washington's groin.
Put fake mustache on Osby, sneak into game.

That team was a high scoring team averaged like 80 a game. Temple was always good at keeping scores down. I think you may be thinking about the teams a couple years later that weren't as good.
