This is as solid of a 1st half that I have seen in years. We are hitting on all cylinders right now. I would rather this team not get my hopes up yet this early in the season.

It's not just his skills. Trae plays like an upperclassman already. He has good composure. He automatically picked up on the 2 fer and then did exactly what Lon wanted back up the court before the t.o. . they were laughing at each other about it when he came to the bench.

Manek is better than I had thought he would be.

he really gets that shot off quick at the top of the key. and he puts good effort into his defense. plus I see him covering for guys on D who are supposed to be helping off the weak side and they miss it. granted they may be his and he's late (which i think was the case in 1) but he knows what he's supposed to be doing and you see that. he left a lane wide open early and has been working hard not to do that again.
