Sam Grooms is a massive upgrade at point guard for OU. Strong, quick, athletic, can shoot, can pass, can defend. He is really the total package at point guard, at least that its what it looks like so far.

He just looks like he is gonna be a really good player.

And pushing Blair to the bench upgrades the back up point guard spot.

Probably forcing it a little bit, but I like his aggressiveness. Creating his own shot a couple times and making an effort to penetrate is good to see. It'll be interesting to see how he plays in the coming games.

That last dribble penetration was excellent. Needs to finish though.

everybody looks much improved minus fitz....i am not concerned about him offensively but to me he doesnt look like his footwork on defense has improved nor has his rebounding to this point....

Inclined to agree, but first practice = things to improve on.

Carp brought up a good point in that it will probably take a game or two for Fitz to get used to playing alongside Osby.
