Defense has played well in most games but our offense has gone south for the winter it seems.
A guy who's been shooting 45% from 3 just couldn't get it to go down today. He didn't make a single three and still had 12 points. No reason to be ashamed of an off shooting night. Buddy played hard, just didn't have it.

Yes, but EVERYONE was 22-0 against Baylor back in the day, lol. This is 2015 and they are good. So is their football team and they used to suck.
And Kelvin is still texting and cheating
Off days happen, Thomas is my big disappointment. 4 of 12 from the field and 4 rebounds.
He isn't what we thought he was coming in....he's an average Big 12 player, was hoping for more.

I wouldn't say he played horrible either. But, I think he rushes his game sometimes. He needs to play under control when he has the ball--how many times have you seen him get stripped or just lose the ball? I saw it at least 3/4 times in the 2nd half. Oh well

If he is going to shoot and miss that often though, he has to bring something else to the table. He had 5 turnovers, and I didn't think he played as good on the D side as he has been.

OK, I just looked at our roster - we have 3, count 'em THREE seniors on this team: Tashawn Thomas, D. Bennett and James Fraschilla. All the rest of the contributors are juniors and sophomores. Lattin is a freshman, and he has given us some quality minutes this year.
What I am saying is that we should have a VERY good, seasoned team next year, and with a couple of bangers in the incoming class, we could be damn good! Maybe Lon can get a transfer that can give us some muscle inside...

Unfortunately, I just don't think these kids are very smart, basketball IQ or otherwise. If Frank Booker is our hope of winning a game, we're doomed. Recognize when you've been struggling with your shot, and pass the ball. I was unimpressed by our post play. Spangler and Thomas looked awful.

With Cousins hurt and Buddy not able to buy a shot from outside we needed the slack to be picked up by other players and for the most part some deferred and decided it was best to just pass the ball.

But we said that last year when we started 3 sophomores and a freshman... we should be good this year.

At this point I don't think it's the experience but the kind and style of players we have. In this day and age having Juniors for high major bball is having a ton of experience.
