OU committ Matt freeman

It is very possible he will be here in January and redshirt giving him four full years to play.

You'd like to think the addition of McGusty and Freeman since Pritchard decommitted might
be an added incentive to Pritchard to recommit.
top 50 shooting/scoring guard = future backcourt duo
top 50 PF/stretch four = PF who can help space the court.

Do we know if Pritchard is going to give us an official visit?

Already ranked #6 by 247 Sports with just McGusty, Doolittle, and Freeman...

But you have to keep in mind, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and the like aren't done with their classes yet

I wonder were our class would rank nationally with Freeman, mcgusty, doolittle, and pritchard.

That would have to be the best class on paper since probably sometime since Tubbs' days, save maybe Kelvin's final class that didn't materialize.

That is a TON of talent.

Props to LK. Recruiting at a high level has kind of always been the question mark with him. He definitely is recruiting at a high level right now.

On paper, the 2009 class with Gallon, TMG, Fitz, Pledger, and Hardick, would have to be considered.

I can vouch for mcjacknife break down of kiwis knowledge of oklahoma. Just returning today from the downunder and kiwi land and when found out i was from oklahoma they first asked about tornados but the second topic was thunder. At a kiwi all black(rugby) store i went into they had small thunder section and said they sold out adams jerseys within minutes of getting them and have struggled to keep up with demand since.

THIS... were putting together a solid argument...

i think the recruits + how we end up doing this year = Pritchard recommitting and we will dominate for 4 years

If the rumors are true, it doesn't matter what OU does. The kid doesn't want to leave his GF. So either they break up and OU has a chance, or they don't and the kid goes to Oregon. It may not be quite that simple, but it's pretty close to that simple.

A lot going on with PP. That ship has hit a small iceberg.

OU is still recruiting though.

When I hear a player is reconsidering because of girlfriend or boyfriend issues, I usually write them off. They aren't mature enough to see for forest for the trees.

I don't think that is really fair. If their relationsihp is more important than sports I don't htink there is anything wrong with that.

It's not girlfriend related totally

Ahh, the cryptic Coach Talk recruiting info. Must be late in the lunar cycle.

No doubt relationships are more important than sports. But, a good relationship will withstand a separation and in a good relationship, one person doesn't want to limit their loved ones dreams.

Payton de-committed with the intention of going to Gonzaga. Oregon didn't get back in till then and Oregon is where he will probably end up.
