OU has the worst record

I'm sure its true but I can't believe we are that bad

Auburn is 3-4... so I wouldnt say they are better, they just dont have 5 losses yet.

So OU and Auburn are the worst BCS teams for now. :)

I'd be willing to bet that few teams have played as difficult of a schedule as we have. We are bad, but simply looking at records in December is hardly a way to tell who is good or bad.

According to the pomroy strength of schedule ratings today, OU has the 107th toughest schedule in the country (35th toughest among all major conference schools).

Granted, those ratings will change dramatically as the season plays out, but based on what we know today, OU's schedule isn't all that strenuous.

OU was a young team last year. B/c of 3 key players leaving and 2 transfers we are young this year as well. Young teams don't perform well unless you bring in what Calipari is bringing in. Thats why UNC is struggling, and UCLA, etc...

We had 3 returning guys from last season...what did you all truly expect was going to happen? We would have a great defensive team or an offensive team...Get real guys.

Capel is only losing 2 guys(Davis/Hardrick) and so far has 3 guys for next year(Osby, Goff, and Taylor). Osby might just be that solid transfer that we need. Taylor might be that shooting guard that we need. And Goff might be that solid defensive presence that we need down low. Goff is ranked as the #3 overall juco player in the country. And Capel is still trying to get a couple of other players as well. With a whole season and offseason for these players to develop, Next year we might just be whistling a new toon.

This season is a rebuilding year whether you want to accept it or not. Capel will be here next year and I am truly excited about next years team. And I will continue to support this team and watch the players develop over the season.

I'd love to be optimistic, but teams don't go from 10 wins to a deep tourney run in one year... Plus, I doubt Capel will be around next year if this year continues to be so abysmal.

Let's all quit making excuses,OU has a bad basketball team right now,Very sad!GO SOONERS!!!!!

FYI Auburn is by far the worst BCS conference basketball team; they have played no one and all of their losses are completely terrible. I would be stunned if we did not end up with more wins than them.

I guess Auburn isn't paying the basketball players.

Capel needs to get Auburn on the schedule asap!!!1!!!1

If we can't beat Chaminade what makes you think we can beat Auburn?

I've been a Sooner bb fan since the 80's. Went to BT bb camp back in the day and I was hooked. It is very dishartening to see this level of play. I don't post very often because I am not on par with many posters here as far as the level of bb knowledge. Imo, the only way this team can have a productive season moving forward, is for them to work better as a team to limit the t.o. They can't be a poor shooting, defensive team and turn the ball over as much as they do. jmo. I will continue to watch my Sooners no matter how hard it is to stomache.

Auburn's lost to UNC-Asheville, Samford, Campbell, and Jacksonville, what makes you think they can beat us? ;) It's subjective. But I would say right now Auburn is the worst. We're probably 2nd worst ATTM though...

Let's revisit this after the G Webb and ORU games. If we lose both of those we may be able to dethrone Auburn...

Do I even want to know what ATTM means?
