Winner of 10 of its last 12 games, No. 15/14 Oklahoma (22-9 overall, 12-6 Big 12) plays No. 13/15 Iowa State (23-8, 12-6) in a rubber match in the Big 12 Championship semifinals Friday at approximately 8:30 p.m. CT at Sprint Center in Kansas City. The third-seeded Sooners and second-seeded Cyclones split the season series with the home team winning each contest. The winner of Friday's game will play No. 1 seed Kansas or No. 4 seed Baylor in Saturday's 5 p.m. CT title game.

Friday's game will air on the Sooner Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM; KTBZ AM 1430 in Tulsa) with Toby Rowland and Mike Houck calling the action. It will be televised by ESPN2 with Brent Musburger, Fran Fraschilla and Holly Rowe announcing.
THIS YEAR VS. THE CYCLONES
Oklahoma and Iowa State split the regular season series, with the Sooners winning 94-83 Feb. 9 in Norman and the Cyclones claiming a 77-70 decision March 2 in Ames. In the first meeting, No. 17 OU came back from a 10-point first-half deficit to take a 20-point second-half lead in an eventual 94-83 win over No. 14 ISU. TaShawn Thomas led five Sooners in double figures with 22 points (11-for-18 shooting) and tied season highs with 11 rebounds (third double-double of year) and 5 assists while adding 3 blocks. Ryan Spangler also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards, while Isaiah Cousins scored 19 points (3 for 4 from 3-point range), Buddy Hield 17 (3 for 8 from 3-point range) and Frank Booker 14 (4 for 6 from 3-point range).
In the rematch, the No. 15 Sooners led by 21 points early in the second half and were up 48-28 with 14:55 remaining before getting outscored 49-22 the rest of the way. After scoring 18 points in the first 20 minutes (its fewest in a half this season), No. 16 ISU scored 59 after halftime (at the time a season high for points in a half). Hield scored a game-high 26 points while Cousins added 12 and Jordan Woodard 10. Georges Niang paced the Cyclones with 23 points (20 after halftime) while Monté Morris added 19 (16 after half).
