That's good! Landing her (yes, I know it's a long long long shot) could potentially turn this program around. I believe whoever gets her will also likely land 1 or 2 other great players within a year or two of her enrolling. She isn't a game changer, she's a program changer, as long as the coaches use her to get their butts in gear and bring in others with great talent.

With their injuries, it is possible, still Texas is a good team and will
probably adapt over the season to the loss of injured players. Not saying they will be as good as they could have been, but probably play better than today.

I think we can win. Sharane has to not make unnecessary fouls and needs to really play with energy. Also, Texas has the bigs so do not know if Kay Kay is enough to counter so thinking our game plan will have to compensate.

I'm very surprised to not see Stanford on Cox's list. I was surprised to see South Carolina and SMU on the list. If I had to pick one right now, I'd say Notre Dame. Anyone but UConn, Lauren!

I could see it coming down to OU Uconn and Texas. One thing I like about OU is she's visited very early on, but has still stayed in contact with the school.

If I remember correctly, after leading the US team to victory in Prague, she didn't even make the All-Tournament team. The US members who did had rather poor days in the finals. Lauren flat out won it for the US against the only really good team they faced.

Uconn knows they really need Cox, right now they have an awesome 2015 class with one elite commit for 2016 and one 3star kid. Outside of cox and Tori McCoy I haven't seen many kids talking about Uconn... sure there is Natalie Chou and Sabrina Ionescu but I think both are long shots.

In 2012-13 Kamy played for TCU as a freshman, then transferred to SMU. She would have had to wait out the 2013-2014 season per NCAA rules, but she isn't listed on the SMU roster for this year.

Experience tells me we can't land Cox unless we end up with a whale of a season this year. That said, Sherri's recruiting has actually improved in the last couple of years, so I'm hopeful she can close the deal.

If she did, would she be the most valued recruit OU has ever landed, even over Courtney?
