OU vs #1 Houston 7pm CST on ESPN2

I saw oweh coming from a mile away. You can look at my posts in non-con.
Hard to understand why Moser played him at all in the second half. Those two or three minutes killed us because he turned it over basically every time he touched it. His complete lack of skill development is not a good look for the coaching staff.

There's a chance OU's best finish under Moser will have come in his first year.
But it’s Lon’s fault. He should have left him with four All Americans with four or five years of eligibility remaining, and he absolutely should have built him a new arena before he retired.

He didn’t score much but I thought he did a good job running the offense against a tough defense.
Nonsense. He’s supposed to be one of our best players and he disappears way too often. He has to be more assertive and lead.

In nearly every game like this, against a good team, Uzan has been a shrinking violet. Add to that Oweh being a no show and JM not showing up for more than 5 minutes, how the heck are we supposed to win these games? It’s a miracle we only lost by 2 and the rest of the guys played their butts off.

If Uzan can’t be the guy, we need to find someone else to be the guy.

He'd have to finish the season 0-7 for that to be the case. Not sure how that's possible. One more win and this is the most wins since Buddy graduated.
I just mean momentum and NET wise. OU was definitely playing its best basketball towards the end of the year in 22. And I think there is a chance that team finished higher in the NET than this team will.

That team finished very strong, which has been the case for most of Moser's teams over the past 6 years. I hope tonight was a sign of things to come. Devastating finish, and moral victories don't help the resume, but I just can't be doom and gloom about a game against #1 being decided by a buzzer beater. If we drop our last three games and miss the tourney, I'll join the pouting party and be ready to pull the plug on Moser. I don't think that's how the story ends.

Make the tourney and we'll be favored to play anyone outside the big 12.

As long as their NET is in the 300s. But what a brilliant post. I’m sure we would be favored in the second round against Purdue or UConn or Zona. We DEFINITELY would be favored over North Carolina.

I'm impressed how well you type with Lon's genitals so firmly in your mouth.
You usually present your arguments and opinions in a very good way, and I often agree with them. I know some boards love to go here, but I'm glad this isn't usually one of them. Just saying..... :) (y)

Just can't figure out why he gets beat off the dribble so much. He's athletic enough to keep people in front of him but gets beat off the dribble a lot. Sometimes it's effort. Maybe more often than not it's effort.
I think its because we guard wayyyy too far out past the 3 pt line. Its exhausting playing defense. Playing past the 3 pt line is even more tiring bc you do not have nearby help so your chasing all of the time. We should pack it in.
