OU vs #1 Houston 7pm CST on ESPN2

As long as their NET is in the 300s. But what a brilliant post. I’m sure we would be favored in the second round against Purdue or UConn or Zona. We DEFINITELY would be favored over North Carolina.

I didn’t see anything about the 2nd round mentioned by the op. Think he meant we make the field as a 8-10 seed he would like our chances to be favored still.

If I had to choose I would want OU to be the 10 seed. I like this team as an underdog more than the opposite.
Heck, ill take a 12 seed instead so if we happen to show up and were to win somehow wed effectively be a 5 seed then

That team finished very strong, which has been the case for most of Moser's teams over the past 6 years. I hope tonight was a sign of things to come. Devastating finish, and moral victories don't help the resume, but I just can't be doom and gloom about a game against #1 being decided by a buzzer beater. If we drop our last three games and miss the tourney, I'll join the pouting party and be ready to pull the plug on Moser. I don't think that's how the story ends.
Fair enough. I’m not doom and gloom about tonight at all. I was very pleased with the performance overall. We’ve all just seen the effect of these super emotional games, both win and loss. Worried they will come out super flat against Cincy.

To be fair, there prolly would have been just as likely of a chance in any case that wed show up flat

Just can't figure out why he gets beat off the dribble so much. He's athletic enough to keep people in front of him but gets beat off the dribble a lot. Sometimes it's effort. Maybe more often than not it's effort.
guessing he just can’t anticipate very well. kinda like getting up in the air with the ball all the time and nowhere to go.

Another bright spot tonight....was Godwin. Considering the competition, I thought he played his best game as a Sooner. If we can even get close to that type of effort from him in almost every game, I worry less about the 5 spot for the rest of the season.

Still crazy that Houston has given up 70+ in regulation only 2 times. Once in their loss to Kansas and once in their 2 point win vs us.

#1 ranked defensive efficiency in the nation.
