Great win.
The announcers were speculating OU could still get in the field of 68.
With 5 games left and only a clear shot at maybe winning 2 how is that possible?
2 wins puts OU at 15-16 entering the Big 8 tourney. OU is dead in the water and doesn't even have a path to the NIT unless it gets to the Big 12 final.

Lol yeah that was funny. If they expand the field to 128 in the next three weeks, we have a chance. Otherwise, it was just meaningless chatter.
How are we favored?!?! Send me a bookie asap!!!!!

Untrue. win 4 of 5 and youll be in. 7 wins in this conference gets you in.
3 of 5 might get you in also ... that would be right on the bubble with 6 q1 wins

While it’s theoretically true that 4 more wins would get us in, it’s also true that if I find a billion dollars on the sidewalk, I’ll be a billionaire. If you think that analogy is silly, I agree. There is a much better chance that I’ll find a billion dollars than there is that we will win four more games.

Yep. 3 of 5 gets us to 16-15 headed into the Big 12 tournament. As long as all of those wins remain Quad 1, that puts us on the bubble. One or two wins in Kansas City, and who knows?
One win at a time, though. This team can beat a good team by 30 and lose to a bad team by 30.
We beat one really good team on a day that team no-showed. That game was a fluke. The past 6 weeks of results make that pretty clear. It's silly to even discuss the possibility of us winning 3 of 5. We have one road win all season, and it came against Tech when they were a huge mess.
I love bubble talk as much as anyone when a team is actually in sight of the bubble. We are so far away that you don't even see us included in the bubble watch columns.
