*** OU vs Texas A&M Game Thread***

Actually, yeah. When a true freshman's missed that many shots, I'd tell him to look to dish the ball for a while.

It's not as though he's not an experienced gunner that we can count on to shoot his way out of it.

He hasn't taken a bad shot yet. No reason to teach him to be tentative.

Davis is fouled on a 3 but not called.

Charge taken by Neal.

Cade with a charge and gives it to CJ who gets fouled and makes half the fts. 53-40 4:00 left.

We don't have a player with the leadership of Cade

I have no idea why you want a guy who is a decent shooter to pass up open jump shots, many of which he created himself with really good moves.

I don't think there's a thing in the world wrong with saying to a young player, "Looks like it's not your night shooting, but there are other ways for you to contribute."

Where is it written that a freshman who's played relatively limited minutes should just keep shooting despite going oh-for?

Unless you're prepared to just write off any chance of winning the game and view it as a practice situation.

We have little to no depth and it continues to show. This is def. frustrating. No loser statement here, we just arent that good and that makes me :(

At this point, the season is over and Neal needs experience, so I say let him shoot any time he's open.

Or "Tyler, you're not having a good night from behind the arc -- let's see you drive toward the basket and perhaps pull up for a mid-range shot."

who does the head count of players when they go on road trips? and why does that person stop at one when he sees cade? it'd be nice if that guy had some help on the road.

Depth has nothing to do with guys not making shots. Pledger is a starter, he hasn't made shots. Fitzgerald is a starter and really hasn't made shots in the second half. Blair is a starter and hasn't made a lot of shots. Cade's really the only guy playing out there.

Thunder and Spurs are tied at 94. 7:00 left.
