*** OU vs Texas A&M Game Thread***

I know he would if he could, it's his fault for bringing in players who can't make a shot. We have no talent on this team and it is a sad state for a once proud program. We are getting killed by Texas A&M, I would have never thought it could happen

Texas A&M is ranked...get that thru your head. They are good this year. I don't care....i like our squad over theirs next year. Hell, if we made shots...we could have possibly beat them.

Damn, Pledger needs to be more aggressive, he took 2 shots and didn't even have a field goal. And when he doesn't have the ball he stands around too much.

Tyler Neal was 0 for 8 overall and 0 for 6 from deep...:clap

Ahhh, the ol' "if we make a ton of shots we would win" thing.... Every losing teams motto.

You know what I mean.

NO I DON'T...We came out making shots...were up one at half...Can't make anything in the 2nd and we lose.

If we can add a couple of more guys to this roster who can score...I don't see why we can't dominate this league next year.

the best shooters always say you only get out of a slump if you keep shooting. neal has been wide open on his shots. if you want someone to stop shooting, talk to blair. he raises up over defenders with his misses.

I'm fully aware of that theory, and I don't disagree with it generally. But it applies to pure shooters -- not to true freshman who haven't shown yet that they can contribute that much offensively. It's not like it was our leading scorer -- someone on whom we've depended all season -- who was struggling. Neal's not our first-, second- or third-best scoring option, not at this point in his young career. He's averaging 4.2 points a game. If it were Davis, Pledger or Fitz going 0-for, I'd say keep shooting. But not Neal. We simply can't afford to have him going 0-for-8 -- not if we want to have any shot at all at winning.

And I'm not prepared for us to throw in the towel on the season. I know we're missing the postseason again and will finish under .500. I don't care. I still want us to do whatever we have to do to win each and every game we play. I don't want our games to be reduced to glorified workouts. Neal can work on his shot in the offseason.

You might want to back off a lil here. We have a chance to be good, but we are a long way from DOMINATING the League

We don't have anyone who can hit shots on a consistant basis. Pledge, Cam, Cade and even Neal will show up one game and then dissapear the next. We just don't have much talent on this team.

I know they are ranked and are a pretty good squad. The point is that they have passed us as a basketball program. A&M has been a horrible basketball school forever (they were once 0-16 in conference play) and the fact that they are having success when we are scrapping at the bottom of the conference is terrible. I have tried to be optomistic about this program but I just dont see how we are going to get out of this hole anytime soon. I hope Osby and Goff can come in and do great things since that is all that we have that will be different for next year.

Now that is what I call optimism.

We don't have anyone who can take over a game when our offense is struggling. Reminds me of Nolan Johnson in Stillwater at the old GIA in the second half.

Why in the world would you think that they have passed us as a basketball school...b/c we are rebuilding? This might be the 1st year that they finish better than 4th in this conference. If Blake didn't get hurt, we win the conference a couple of years ago. aTm is just taking advantage of us rebuilding. Sorry...but if 2 of our guys returned from last years team...aTm would not be better than us and We would not have to be listening to this bandwagon nonsense.
