Percentage Hill, J. Groves, Sherfield Stay?

either way but him as a bench player 7th 8th man is not a bad option at all

and he did improve from year 1 at OU to year 2 at OU

he likely will improve more .. in year 3

I just don’t see him as a legitimate rotation guy for a competitive Big 12 team. He wouldn’t see the floor on most of the teams in our league. As a ninth or tenth man who plays very limited minutes, I’d be fine with that.

i don't think we see it too much differently ..

Id rather have a new young guy fill that spot and have the possibility for more years than some guy with no upside and 1 year left who has shown hes not big 12 caliber. If the new guy isnt good either, portal him out rinse and repeat. Thats the way game is now.

JG would be a disaster taking up a spot to try out a new player. Itd be pretty much just charity or a 1 scholly ban imo

Groves is fine as your 8-9 man in college basketball. He is a good shooter for his size. His rebounding improved a lot this year. I think I would rather keep him around. We have a lot of other spots to fill.

some player stability and senior leadership is also a good thing

and by all accounts Jacob does things the right way ...

100% agree

sounds like most of us are on the same page with JG...

bench player...small time if not playing well.

The problem is will Moser do that? He didn't for most of this year. The other train of thought is why keep him for a yr when we could POSSIBLY get someone that might be better in the long run that has more time/upside.

Course the possibility is he improves a little more this coming yr as well and is more productive. Lots of "if's and but's".

Sure but id imagine most SRs that have seen their playing time go from starters to hopefully here like 5 mins, at best (unless on fire), have a hard time swallowing that and could lead to dissension

THIS. i don't trust PM to keep JG's mins where they belong.. so thats why i hope JG takes that out of PM's hands

No insight but besides Jalen. They would most likely have to graduate to get eligible.
I dont know where they are in that process.

Each day. I say it raises they all stay. Just guessing.
