If you scroll through the transfer portal thread then you will see some names. I don't think the issue is offering kids. Is there anyone we are even remotely close to landing?

The beat writer for the Oklahoman wrote an article a day or two ago listing a handful of names that they are supposedly focusing on. I will see if I can go back and find and link it. It didn’t really say whether we are considered favorites to actually land any of them, so I’m not sure how useful it is. One name I remember (because he is a big) is the kid from Virginia, Shedrick. His offensive numbers are not good at all, and he only played 18 minutes per game. If they get him, it would be for his defense, but his offense wouldn’t help us at all and he doesn’t shoot threes. Which may not be a bad thing after the way Tanner shot them this season.

247sports didnt do rankings for portal that year. Just started last year.

Aside from Hill being the highest, it's hard to take those rankings seriously. I'm not going to miss JG, but Bamisile was basically a no go last year, and we saw why when he did get minutes. At least JG looked like a reasonable backup option. Also hard for me to put Noland above Cortes based on what my eyes saw. I know which one I was disappointed to see leave.

Arkansas 6’9” big man Makhel Mitchell entered the portal today …at least he has and can play a little D1 post …maybe we reel him in
