If we get Thomson, Williams, and goldwire. You tell Harmon thanks and bye. You don’t wait around for kids to decide if they are in and out you tell them they have been replaced. The portal IMO is a good thing in giving kids freedom of choice. But choosing to enter does come with consequences they also have to accept.

Honestly, I wouldn't wait for a player who entered the portal. They clearly aren't that committed to being a Sooner.

Even with a coaching change? I know the Harmon situation has turned annoying, and I’d normally agree with you that they aren’t 100% committed in a normal year. If a coaching change happens, a kid enters the portal, and decides to come back I wouldn’t hold it against him.

Hard to blame a 20 year old thinking his dad knows best for him. We can obviously see he’s buying what anyone sells him on his son being in the NBA, but it is probably a lot harder for De’vion to see that.

I’ve literally heard 16-17 year old small school players who couldn’t play at a D3 talk about getting to the NBA. It’s hilarious & shocking to hear, and it’s happened more than once.

Maybe Garang as the 13th guy if the coaching staff allows him to stay.

But if you get Williams, you go all in on getting someone who can start at that PG position. Don't love having three freshmen as your guards off the bench, but Noland is ready-made to be that sixth/seventh man with Hill in this rotation.
