Yep, he was great last night in just about every phase of the game. He and Muni even made free throws at an acceptable rate.

In the post-game handshake line, considering how well Lon knows Lindey Waters, there seemed to be a cold "run-by" by Waters. Makes me think that he is possibly bitter. I could be way off base, but....................

I'm sure it's been discussed before (and I should remember, anyway -- it's not been that long ago): Was OU interested in Waters? Was he solid to oswho all along, or did OU not go after him?

Not 100% positive, but did it go like this:

1. OU offered Waters
2. OU recruiting bigger fish, slow played Waters
3. OU gets McGusty
4. OU tells Waters to fly a kite

Again I don't know, just a guess..

I've always felt that Waters was a little bitter toward OU based on the fact that we either either didn't recruit him or always looked for somebody (McGusty?) better.
