This is a working man's team, down and dirty. You can't ask for anything more, o' a win would have been nice but to come from 18 and get it within 10 is great.

You've managed to throw out my expectations for this year perfectly. These guys have already managed to get rid of all "quit" from last season. That is a start.

Ding Ding Ding...I liked it. Bummed we lost but I would not have finished watching it last year. In for it all this time.

We were outmatched athletically, size-wise and ability wise, but we competed and kept from getting blown out. Last year's team may have lost that game by 20-30 by not playing defense and jacking up bad shots.

I was proud of this team and the commentators obviously had some respect for them too. I also saw Capel smile a couple of times. Something I didnt see last year.

I liked what I saw.
I will never be happy with a loss, and there are many things we could have done better as individuals and as a team, but it was refreshing to watch after last season.

This is at least a team that is worth the name on the front of their jersey.


Now, it's important to note that this game, and any positives taken from it, means absolutely NOTHING if we don't come out with the same heart and intensity the final two games of the tournament.

We have to come out and win tomorrow and Wednesday.
I think most of us would take a 4-1 start after last season, and I'm feeling more confident that this team can steal 2 out or Arky, Arizona, and Cincy.
