Kid really stepped up and I thought played really good defense today. I've questioned his role going forward, but I'm starting to believe.

If he can work to gain some more quickness in the offseason and some semblance of a dribble drive game, he could really take off. He's already a nice player, but he could be really nice player.

Although I'm not sure Capel is putting him and Clark in much of a position to do more than shoot jumpers in what whatever this offense we're running is called. Maybe the "1-4 Standaroud".

He was really good defensively today. Had a lot of deflections and blocks.

For only a sophmore...I see a bright future. If Fitz can become a better rebounder we might have a complete starting 5 next year from the 1 to 5 spot.

Steven is an intelligent player. He knows the game and how to make the right plays. He also has the strength and the hands to be a really good defender. If he can improve his lateral quickness and become the consistent outside threat we all thought he could be, I think he has a chance of being a really good player in the not too distant future.

His thrre point shooting average has improved to just over 35%, plus he leads the team from the free throw line with an 85% average. I don't even want to think about how this game would have turned out if our players, especially Carl, had not come up big from the line.
