Not that I'm aware of. Soares is probably the answer. I wonder what is happening with Rees.

I really hope it is Soares. If it is, then this class will be one of the best we have had in a really really long time.

I'm not sure who we can sign. We will have:

EJ
Penzo
Ana
Shaina
Mandy
Morgan Rich
seven freshmen

That leaves us with two slots unless someone transfers.

We have offered Amihere, Gregory, Poffenbarger, and Byrd that I know of. We are looking at the girl from Vegas. I thought we were looking at the girl from Derby, KS. We only have two slots.

I can’t imagine we would really benefit from anyone that isn’t 6’2 or better- we need rim runners and back to basket post

I had not heard Much on her other than she visited but i thought she was a 19?

I think she has a choice. Australian schools are different. She would be eligible and could have come in this Spring. Get a head start and be ready for the Fall. But, she is young, only 17.

Just looked her up born jan of 2000 so that would make her in A senior in high school according to our school system

Poffenbarger is a 2021 kid, and she took an unofficial visit to Uconn recently...

Our top 2019 targets seem to be Brown from Kansas, Amihere from Canada, and Jones from California, all are 6’2 or taller and all can play inside.
Gregory seems to be on the small side at about 6 foot... not sure Sherri should go that route again since Mandy has been having trouble with D1 size.

Prospect Nation
Laeticia Amihere 6-2 Kings Collegiate, Canada
#14 Haley Jones 6-1 San Jose Archbishop Mitty
#48 Kennedy Brown 6-5 Derby KS
#87 Gabby Gregory 5-11 Tulsa Holland Hall

HoopGurlz
#2 Laeticia Amihere
#5 Haley Jones
#16 Kennedy Brown

Saylor Poffenbarger 6-1
Jaydn Byrd 6-4

we know that OU is recruiting each of these, except I'm not certain of Brown. I have seen an early allusion, but no verification.

I thought Laeticia Amihere was a UConn lock?

If any of those FIREBALL assistants of SC are recruiting any of these girls, we probably go 0-fer on them.

As good as Amihere is, Uconn might be recruiting over her, they are still in on a 2018 post, might be in the lead for 2019 top post player Boston, and are in on a few 2020 post...

Brown released a story about her recruiting not that long ago, and OU wasn’t among the schools she talked about, but I believe there is some level of interest between the 2.

I thought Amihere was a forward, being 6-2 or 6-3. I think Ezi Macgebor (or something like that) is the center.
