Putting TY’s impact aside for the moment, I think Reynolds and Calixte will be an upgrade to the two we lost to transfers. If Martin gets his waiver allowing him to play next season, our backcourt as a whole will be vastly improved. All three of these players can score, plus they have very respectable averages from behind the arc.

Agreed. I was also impressed with his interview. He talked about being a team leader. Coach called him the heart and soul of the team. Said he brings it in every game, and the coach knows he’s going to get 100% from him. The more I learn about this kid, the happier I am with this pick up.

He said in one of his HS interviews that his coach would rarely call a timeout even when they were behind. That might have been a feather in our cap.

I do too, but our non-conference schedule is shaping up to be an awfully tough one again. It worked out this year (in fact, it was the only reason we made the tourney), but next season depends greatly upon who else we pick up.
