Robinson cited for battery

You would think after all the personal struggles he had this season he would make better decisions in life... C'Mon Man!

He was probably high of the cocaine given to him by a KU booster wearing a mock turtle neck.

Sounds like he's ready to follow in the Morris twins footsteps and continue the tradition under Self.

So when does KU get in trouble for all of this junk. Sounds like lack of institutional control to me.

Would anyone like to help start a scholarship fund for the victim?

So let's take a look at all of Self's players that have been in trouble since he took over at KU shall we?:

1) C.J. Giles arrested for battery after beating up his girlfriend
2) Brady Morningstar arrested for DUI in 2009
3) Sherron Collins exposes himself and makes sexual advances toward a woman in an elevator back in May 2007
4) The whole team gets in trouble for getting in a fight with the football team at the Student Union
5) Markieff Morris arrested for shooting BB Gun outside his dorm window and hitting a woman in the arm with one.
6) JR Giddens instigates bar fight where he gets stabbed as a result
7) Mario Little arrested on charges of battery, criminal damage and criminal trespassing following a pre-dawn fight with his girlfriend and others.
8) Thomas Robinson arrested on battery charges

How has the NCAA not stepped in on this! KU seems to be untouchable, pretty corrupt if you ask me.

These are all criminal issues. None of them have anything to do with NCAA compliance.

And therein lies the hilarity of the issue--when you look at what OU has had to deal with in regards to the NCAA in the last decade compared to kantsas.

(not disagreeing with you Shooterms, it's just funny when you look at the differential in scale of wrongdoing b/w the two and the scale of effect on the programs).

How many of these were actually convicted of anything in court? I'm pretty sure Collins beat the rap in his elevator case.

Criminal activity vs. compliance....different scenario.

I'm pretty sure he lost the civil suit if I remember correctly. Still way too many issues off the court. Self looks worse than Calipari at the moment.

That is true, but this happens so often that the NCAA might need to step in when this stuff happens, especially when it is a regular occurrence.

The inmates are running the asylum. It's getting to the point the National Guard may need to called in to protect the citizens of Lawrence, although those clowns are probably honored to get assaulted by KU basketball players, and thank them later.

Don't think for a second their ticket scandel wasn't related to the basketball program and recruiting. How did the investigation start? When Morningstar's dad was connected to the brothers who were ticket brokers and sponsered AAU teams all over the country. A bunch of their players signed with KU.
