Something very sketchy is definitely going on over there that's for sure. But they are KU, so nothing will happen.
 
I'm sure the Beakers and their media cheerleaders in the Topeka-Lawrence-KC axis of evil will gloss it over - while they'd have a field day if it happened at another school over 100 miles away (not counting Mizzou). They absolutely LOVED making OU into the villain when Tubbs was at OU, although to be honest he didn't seem to mind it that much.

No kidding! I live in the Kansas City area and they have a major KU bias here. I mean they hardly cover KSU and Mizzou here unless it is negative. Not to mention the KU fans here are awful! Arrogant, obnoxious and just plain ignorant. Worst fans I have ever encountered.

Mizzou doesn't get the same treatment in KC. Mike DeArmond (KC Star Mizzou beat reporter) wouldn't have a field day, but everyone else in the KC media would (and the St. Louis media would absolutely tear Mizzou a new one just for the fun of it).

KU also had the ticket scandal and was paying players money after their senior year.
 
So....he essentially got a misdemeanor ticket for getting into an altercation at a bar?

I enjoyed it - and forwarded it to my brother whose best buddy from his OU days is a closet Beaker from Lenexa. His closet Beaker pal has a son who's about 19, and of course he goes to KU.

ku bias in the kc area? surely you jest!!:facepalm the flurry of ku gear from three weeks ago seems to have settled into its usual spot in the closet until the end of october. the ku star has been glossing over all of this. luckily talk radio spent some time on the ticket sentencing or youd have never known it had happened.

i said this earlier. two months ago whod you rather have been - kufan or oufan? mufan or oufan? ksufan or oufan? odd how things seem to have changed in that regard.
 
Kids having a lot to deal with. I am sure a little sister to worry about and a rough life in general might make somebody take a swing at some mouthy punk who dooshing it up in front of a guy trying to just relax for a night.

How do you know he was provoked, were you there? :facepalm Maybe HE was douching it up.

I understand the guy has had a rough year but that's no excuse for taking a swing at someone. Be the bigger man.
