I have never been a fan of this numbers system and my understanding is limited to say the least. But, if it’s even close to a legitimate measurement of a player’s performance, Harkless may need to be a permanent fixture on the bench!

Am I right, or can one of you EJ supporters make an argument in his favor? At first glance he played well in Stillwater where he had 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Unfortunately, he cancelled a sizable portion of that performance with 8 turnovers. Are we at a point where he could be hurting the team more than he is helping?

Game to game it can be fluky, but +/- will paint the picture if you give it sufficient parameters. Harkless has been bad, there's no way around that. Eight turnovers is inexcusable. It's no coincidence that our big road win in Morgantown came in a game where he only played four minutes.

Couldn’t agree more. Really wish Moser would have stuck with bringing him off the bench. It almost hurts us that he played well against TCU last week because I think that game is what got him back in the starting lineup. And the eight turnovers … I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that from a non-point guard.

When only one starter is a positive +/-, and 3 of the 5 starters are the worst on the team, it is easy to see why we have lost 7 of 8.

And to make matters worse, 3 of the worst 4 +/- in conference are 4th and 5th year players.

I distinctly remember Buddy had a 10-turnover game in Stillwater. But his +/- was significantly higher than Elijah’s to say the least.
