Seed In Big-12 Tournament

That has been true in our recent games for sure. But Maddie and Gioya are going to have to light it up because, offensively, I don't think we are going to see Little do much. Defensively she will be good. Her offense is sputtering at best and it looks like she's almost lost confidence in her shot like she did last year.

We really need Gabbi to excel. You and I debated whether she or TT were better earlier this year. Then I thought it was close, but Gabbi has really come on. She is the best point we have. We will need her to be like that this weekend.

Vivi played fine, until she was thrown to the floor by a Baylor girl and the Baylor girl got called with a flagrant foul.....After one gets hit like that, she may not have felt very good after that. That was a pretty hard hit you know.

Vivi's gotta toughen up and adjust to the game!

We may have just received some help from Bama in our hopes of hosting the first round. Bama just beat Tennessee 72-64. A win over WV might be enough. A win over Texas would be enough.

Two wins and we get it. Just beating WVU (no sure thing), I'm not sure about. Likely, but likely will depend upon what happens beyond Big 12.

We kind of had a bad weekend in that the teams just above us that faced some challenges all won, or didn't lose by thirty. UCLA won on the road against ASU. Kentucky lost to South Carolina, but not by a lot. Tennessee won. We need a little bit of failure on the part of some of our opposition in conference tournaments, like this one by Tennessee.

On the final Toby Rowland Show of this year tonight, Sherri indicated that the team looked really good in practice early Saturday. But, when she walked into the dressing room, she knew that something had changed. The team was thinking more about the night than the game.

If Maddie doesn't shoot fifteen times in the first half against WV, there will be some discussions at halftime. She thinks Maddie had just begun to feel what she could do prior to the injury. Been a bit hesitant since. But, they have known for a while that Maddie would be applying to come back. Saving the announcement for Maddie. Then, the injury caused Maddie to hesitate. Was it another rehabilitation thing? The quick recovery made up Maddie's mind that she could come all the way back and have a good year next year without injury.

McKenna and Gioya have never played except in pain.
