Sherri

Not sure if Sherri was talking about USF or Kentucky but, she said they were more athletic than OU at every position.

That's obviously going to be a concern when we play the likes of Baylor, Texas, etc.

Did anyone hear the full interview this morning between James Hale and Sherri?

A friend told me that Sherri said Maddie was not getting more minutes because she was having difficulty adjusting to the physicality of the game. That and fouling too much primarily because she was still having difficulty moving to the left or the right.

Decoded: Maddie is not 100 percent and is likely done as a major contributor, perhaps for the season or forever.

witch is the reason I expect her to play 2 more season at the max...

It's impossible for us to know how much of Maddie's problems are physical vs mental. Based on what I've read, I think it will be another year before she really knows what she'll be able to do on the court with her re-built knees. A lot of it depends on if she had cartilage damage as well as ligament damage.

Actually, the term that Sherri used was "faster." But, let's ask Sherri a different question. Is Kentucky also faster than UConn at every position? I suspect that the answer is yes.

For pure speed, is Breanna Stewart regarded as fast? How about Dolson or Mosquedo-Lewis? Was Stacey Dales fast?

DRob was fast. Nyesia was fast. I don't know that I would consider Nyesia better than Stacey.

Basketball is more than just one aspect. Baylor won a national title with a group that had little athletic ability except at one position, and a lot of different skills that blended.

Kentucky may be faster at every position, but I would bet on OU in the NCAAs over Kentucky, big.
