NIT won't happen. The only post season we make is if we win 4 games and get the auto bid to the NCAA Tournament. We will have a losing record. I'm not sure if a Texas game matters either way. I think Capel is probably getting one more season.

There is a 1% chance at making the NCAA Tournament, but literally a 0% chance of making the NIT.

Can we beat Texas? Why not. They're not playing good ball right now, and we obviously have nothing to lose. It's still a bit of a long-shot, but I've seen bigger upsets.

We couldn't ask for a better time to play Texas. Not saying we will beat them but they are not playing their best ball right now. Not to mention that a 1 seed for them is a long shot..they may not play their hearts out like we will.
