Sometimes you have to go all the way to the bottom

As the year went on you could see that there was alot of these kids that didn't look interested in playing as a team and now we are seeing that. I love Coach and this is probably the hardest time he has ever had. When his dad was coaching ODU the same type of things happened and he got the boot. Coach is very lucky he has a AD that will put up with this kind problem. I believe coach came in at a perfect time and saved the program. He made one big mistake, leaning on kids that looked like they where going to take this program to the upper 10 of the NCAA. As a leader you carry the burden of mistakes by your coaches and players as a whole. This is one of the biggest projects we have seen in OU basketball in a long time. Not in Coach Tubbs or Sampson years did we see this kind of disorganization. He has made big mistakes and he must be held accountable and told to fix the situation. HE WILL..........OU will be stronger as a program and above all a young Coach will be stronger....
 
I thought that OU was close to the bottom when they hired Capel??Now we as fans have to set through a second rock bottom experience in 4 years???That's funny!!GO SOONERS!!!!!!!

What have you ever done? I didn't graduate High School, struggled for a couple of years, then got a degree from OU and then a law degree from OCU.

You have no clue what adversity is, or how to overcome it. Just a know it all message board that has no idea what it takes to be successful in anything. Theodore Roosevelt had a very fitting statement for you:

Someone said on here a few days ago that they could live with some loses next year if everyone played hard for 40 minutes on both ends of the court. Based upon what Capel said today, that is exactly what I believe that we will see. I have no idea how many wins that will generate this coming year but if they play hard and do things the right way, I can live with the results until we can get the kind of players that we need to get back to where we want to be.
 
Last year I didn't see a lot of playing hard for 40 minutes on both sides of the court. I'm not going to say we won't see that next year but they'll have to prove it.

Based upon what Capel said today, that is exactly what I believe that we will see. I have no idea how many wins that will generate this coming year but if they play hard and do things the right way, I can live with the results until we can get the kind of players that we need to get back to where we want to be.

It's pretty sad to think that OU basketball has fallen so far that scholarship players playing hard for 40 minutes will be acceptable result even if we lose em all.

I'm not going to be satisfied until we start winning some conference championships again, with or without this staff.
