We're in control at the under 4 timeout, 78-62.
This team is CAPABLE of being a very good defensive team. We had two four-minute stretches of great defense I haven't seen from them in a long time.

He really didn't seem to be much of a factor tonight.

Manek can’t shoot but his rebounding has improved twofold
No. Once we went to more of a pressure D he was out and our D was much better. They were spreading us out and using drive/kick and drive/shoot where he was a liability. His D seems to only be effective when he can help with the block.

He had 10 points and 11 rebounds if the online stats are correct. He was the only player with a double-double.
As much as I hate to say it, we’re a better defensive team when Muni is on the bench. Maybe Lon got his attention by making him sit most of the second half.
Final score: OU 87, UTSA 67
it was 57-54 when manek and calixte miscommunicated and threw the ball away. manek was pissed. kruger was pissed. don’t know what calixte said to manek, but gave him a five and seemed to settle him. manek gets the following steal and we stretch the lead to 14. little things. but big things.
Manek appears to have watched a lot film to really improve his rebounding. It seemed like the last 8 minutes, he was getting himself in great position for virtually every board.
