Who do you think has the best chance (I realize that it is probably slim to none for all of them) of finding a team and sticking in the NBA (let's say for a full year on a roster)...

Taylor Griffin (currently in Belgium)
Tommy Mason-Griffin (currently in Germany)
Tiny Gallon (D League)
Tony Crocker ( currently in Hungary)
Cade Davis (currently in Macedonia)
Longar Longar (not sure where he is playing right now)

Who and why?

I'm going to go with TMG. I think he has the range, quickness, speed, and passing ability to be a bottom roster spot NBA player. I bet he will get a shot and make it within the next 3-5 years after he gets some international experience. He is currently 20 and just resigned with his German team.

I think Crocker and Griffin are tweeners, Longar isn't strong enough (or tall enough), and Tiny will always struggle with his weight...I just don't see Cade as an NBA guy. I do think all of those guys will make a good living overseas if they choose.

What do you think?

Taylor is really the only one. He can have a niche as a defensive player.

I'd like to think so but man I just don't see him developing into a shooting guard/small forward (hope I'm wrong).

Tiny is oozing with pro potential. It's too bad he doesn't have Taylor, Cade, or Crocks' work ethic.

I don't know if he can ever be good enough on offense to really start anywhere. I think he can be similar to Sefolosia on the Thunder as a defender. I don't think he'll ever do much on offense.

Taylor needs to develop a consistent jump shot to go with his defense, if he wants to stick around.

You think he can be quick enough to stay with guys like Kobe (like Sefolosia does?). I just don't see it....

I really don't see any of them sticking around for very long, or doing very much.

The two that have a decent chance in my mind are Taylor (b/c he did stick around for a while, and can defend), and Tiny (b/c he has a legit position, and can shoot it). Not sure Tiny has the worth ethic, but I'm pretty sure I know TMG does not. Also don't like his size. NBA is built on size, and while there are a few midgets running around, there aren't many. Kid still seems to have a bad attitude. NBA won't put up with that.

Cade, LL, and Crocker just don't have the size/game.

I'm not sure Tiny is tall enough to make it in the NBA. He's like 6-6 or 6-7. Not sure if he can play the 4 well enough unless he loses a ton of weight.

It's too bad that LL isn't just a bit taller because he has some offensive game and range. It's tough trying to be an NBA center these days. You've got to be 7 foot or have something extraordinary in your game.

Tiny is a legit 6-9

He should mirror his game after Big Baby.

Tommy Mason-Griffin, Cade Davis, and Tony Crocker have no prayer. I also think Longar would have gotten a look by now if he was ever going to get one.

Being Blake Griffin's brother has to help Taylor. Tiny has the talent to make it, but he would have to do a 180 in terms of work ethic and attitude in order to ever make it.

I would go with Tiny or TMG. TMG is very talented but has a serious attitude problem. Tiny is also extremely talented but has a weight issue. If I had to pick one over the other, I would say Tiny. You just don't see many guys his size that can do the things he does. There are lots of good little guys.

I don't think Crocker, Cade, Taylor or Longar have a chance. They are all tremendous athletes but nothing special compared to a bunch of similarly sized and talented people. Taylor is too small to be a PF and too big for a wing (lacks speed and the outside shot of an NBA wing). Crocker is nothing special for a wing player (I wish I was nothing special like him, so don't take it as an insult). Cade is the same as Crocker. Longar is just another big guy. He is already pretty old and I think the NBA would rather take a chance on a 19 year old with the same skill set.

I think Cam Clark might have a better shot than all of them. I say that because he should improve as a player and seems to have a better attitude than TMG or Tiny.

Tiny and Taylor are the only ones that have a chance.

Tiny. He needs someone to break him down and build him up. Longar would be 2nd but he is too thin to play 5 and doesn't have anything special to make him a 4 in the NBA. Cade 3rd on work ethic and do everything mentality but would still need to keep getting better, much better. Tons of guys just like TMG and Crocker try to make in the NBA, crocker didn't show me enough in 4 years to think NBA ever, TMG didn't in one and will always be behind the "too short" 8 ball.

TINY..

because he has the size and skill...

The others are lacking in those areas to play in the league...

I dont know if he will ever take it serious enough but of the ones listed he has the best shot...

I'll say Tiny because he has the one thing you can't teach, which is size. He is also tremendously skilled and has plenty of untapped potential. If he can lose some weight and become dedicated to rebounding and actually playing in the post instead of drifting around the perimeter (although he isnt a bad shooter) he will get a shot one day. But that's a big if

he is legit 6'9 with a huge wing span .. and tons of skill
