Went 9-2 against a relatively weak non-conference schedule and have started Big 12 with a home loss to WVU and another loss at KU. They don't appear to have much size or a real go-to player. Highly recruited Amber Ramirez doesn't appear to be the impact player they had hoped for halfway through her SO. season. Definitely should be in the win column if the Sooners play well.

Definitely need to win this game......there aren't too many gimme's in the Big 12.

I don't expect there to be much of a crowd, but the women shouldn't need it against TCU.

Go take care of business...tips in a few minutes!

I wonder who starts tonight....it seems we have a revolving starting lineup.....

Interesting starting lineup......if soonersports can be trusted

Vivi
Pellington
Ortiz
Manning
Odimgbe

I don't think we've had that one yet...:ez-roll:

Last minute change on the starting lineup...

Ana in for IJ

Game is ragged so far....Ana turning down a lot of open 3s.

Shaina needs to know who to get the ball.

Vivi with two fouls early. Silly fouls.

OU-14
TCU-12

After the first.

Slow start. OU 0-5 on the threes, TCU 2-5 on threes

Shaina has 6 of the 12 points so far.

OU 36

TCU 32

At the half.....tcu hits a big three at the buzzer to pull within four.

I don't know why she's wearing glasses, but she has made some good plays tonight. Simpson with four points.

Game has been uneven....OU will have three or four trips down the floor with good results....and then the opposite. When Shaina left the game, the offense struggled in the half court. Our players need to learn to throw bounce passes to the wings.....by the time their lobs get there, the player is covered up. Need to move the ball quicker and the wings (all of them) need to be ready to shoot the three. That is where we can do the most damage. TCU seems to be denying our inside game.

TCU scores at the buzzer again....

TCU 59

OU 56

TCU getting lots of lucky bounces tonight...

But they are out rebounding us and they're making their free throws...the difference in the game so far.

Excellent start to the 4th quarter for the Sooners. OU leads by 9 w/ 5:25 to go in 4th quarter.

Trae Young sighting - on his phone and checking out the cheerleaders during a timeout.

Best quarter of play I've seen this year....haven't watched all of the games but OU outscored them 28 to 12 in the fourth. Lots of good decisions and good defense in the last quarter.

Vivi was exceptional in the 4th quarter. I loved the fake handoff play. I wonder if that was a designed play or an adhoc play.

I think Vivi pulled a similar move last week. This was out in the open and more obvious. She does get creative at times as she defines herself as a senior.

Maddie, Shaina, and Vivi scored 61. Everyone else scored 23. Who is the person hitting tonight? Last week, it was Gabbi. Tonight, Ana and Gabbi couldn't hit anything, 4 of 17, 0 of 6 from three. But, Maddie couldn't seem to miss. I thought her two misses were going in. We have five scorers in double figures for the season, just not on the same night.

Okwonko is pretty good. Ramirez had an off night.

We had ten blocks and nine steals. Therein lies the game.

TCU plays a different style this year with good inside people.
