It is tough to find positive things to say after the last three weeks but Kam McGusty having a big game on the road was huge. If he can continue to hit his outside shots, OU will be a much better team.

Kam had 13 points in 23 minutes and was 3-3 from 3 point range on the road. Really happy for him even though I am sure he is not too thrilled with the game.

Totally agree. Even though we lost last night, I thought we played well. If Trae hadn't gone 0-9 from 3 pt line...and hit 3-4 of those, good chance we win that game. I thought McGusty, C. James, McNease, all had really good games. Doolittle also did some good things.

All this team needs is to build on that and get a win Saturday, which I think they will do. We've all seen this team play well earlier in the year, and if we can get hot at the right time, going into post season play, this team is capable of doing some damage in the nig dance. They are also capable of losing the first game...so there's a fine line, but we won't be playing teams that are used to playing us and know how to scheme.

If you had said Young was going to be 0 of whatever from 3-point range, I would have said OU would lose by 30 yet it was a tie ball game with 3 minutes to go.

I'm encouraged by the performances from everyone else on the team.

I look for them to really play well Saturday, don't lose sight of how good Tech is.

Kam was definitely a bright spot in last night’s game. I also thought Doolittle played well. He only had four points on 2 of 4 shooting, but he added six boards and an assist.

I was especially pleased with the way they played, because It seemed obvious to me they were not as engaged as they should have been in doing their share to win games. I’m hoping this was a sign of a renewed emphasis on turning this season around.

I hope he sticks around for next year. He’ll be the leading scorer.

The contribution from others last night was a positive....I hope it continues.

agreed. He's one of the best players on the team and the team needs him in order to play well down the stretch.
