First just want to tell you how excited we are to have you at OU. As to your suggestions, would love to see the following:

1. Placement of students closer to the floor.
2. Placement of camera on said students during television broadcasts.
3. Twenty “real-time” minutes after tip-off, allow fans to move into empty donor seats closer to the floor.
4. Schedule weekday “non-conference” games at the field house excepting marquee match-ups.
5. Please bring back Top Daug.

Again, it is amazing that you and the AD are wanting to hear from fans. To be clear, we appreciate it and wish you nothing but success.

Yeah they have done this in the past before. The turnout was decent, but the game wasn't sold out by any means.

The only 2 home games I missed in 4 years as a student was when they did this.

I like to keep them separate, personally.

Bingo!

When the 2009 team played a scrimmage in there before the 2008 Nebraska game it was probably 75% full, and fairly raucous. That was a really fun afternoon.

Uh, completely different. The star wars thing was a stupid one day gimmicky thing. Top daug was brought in as a mascot to bring up the morale of the team by Billy Tubbs. When he arrived OU was seen as an underdog in most games, and billy wanted that to change so they came up with Top Daug. Who was a great mascot for years and years and years and loved by the fans. Star wars day was lame!
