Neal was terrible the first half. But pretty good the 2nd half.

Some of you guys with your stats. I'm not going to bash Neal...but I watched him play in that game. His rebounds weren't competitive rebounds. His TOs were huge. I think 2 of his points came off of a dunk. Right now I watch a guy that can't compete down low and is too slow to be that effective on the offensive end playing the 3. But he is a Sophmore and I like what he brings to the team and expect a lot more in the years to come.

This. Stats didn't tell the whole story with Neal's game. Dude looked over matched all game long. I know he is a little better than that, and I know his shooting will come in handy at some point.

I didn't like our pressure D..but I think I'm going to wait to make judgment on it until I see how it looks with Pledger out there.

Agree with this as well. I think LK will dial it back some as the talent level we are facing increases. But we'll see.

I'm not sure I'm prepared to judge at this point in the season.
There's no doubt that our players will get better. Will they get good? I think they will. Good enough ? Cant tell now.

Idaho State is pretty unknown. Could be that their JUCO additions are better than the guys they lost. It is like trying to figure what K-State football will be like each year. Besides the Mountain West is getting pretty tough in basketball.

I only saw the last 8 minutes of the first half so I didn't see Neal's struggles.

I liked the effort on defense and the boards and how we got open shots. They weren't falling. The big difference from last year is that we didn't get many open shots last year. Pledger should add something.

I like the pressure defense. You need that when you are undersized. I think we are going to see a lot of that in the future.

We had them in foul trouble because we were agressive on offense. That will work on a lot of teams.

Don't know if I've ever seen an ugly game early in the season against a no name team playing a zone defense. :facepalm

It's a win. This team is much better than last year and it will be an entertaining season despite the rebounding problems.
