How many years did it take him to miss out on the postseason altogether not once, not twice, but three times?
Winner winner chicken dinner.

I would take a 1st round loss over no post season at all 10 time out of 10

And...pwned again.
Congratulations cal40, you just got pwned twice in less than 30 minutes. :clap
BTW, as others have said I'd take a 1st round exit any day over a 10 or 12 win season.
Most of the time Stoops teams are happy to just be in bowls. His Bowl record has been very average.
Honestly I would take neither.
PWNED? :facepalm
Will you please not use stupid computer game words.
Also what I am saying is it is nothing to brag about.
Heck yes we made to the tourney to only be sent home the first day.:woot
Thats the football team being happy to play at the Sun Bowl last year.
Big Old Booger when do you ever get facts right?
Then come talk to me, buddy.
If OU never wins a bowl game again they'll keep Stoops there till he retires.
OU football is. That's my point. Who is happy with OU basketball not even making a post season every year? That's becoming the norm in OU basketball. I don't see much changing next year with basically the same roster. Not my point, point is who in their right mind would be happy playing for the Sun Bowl every year.

Bub...I have my facts right. If it weren't for soonerstats.com you wouldnt even be able to argue with me about it. I was at or watched on tv most every basketball game since 1976.
Keep on dreaming, dream weaver.

Like I said before I am not your Bub and I don't care how long you have watched the games since, that does nothing to prove your point. It doesn't how I get my facts correct, it's just that I get them right. You are wrong more times then you are right and thats a proven fact, so no you don't have your facts right.
Considering we had Jeff capel, I mean John Blake, coaching the football team to abysmal 3-8 type seasons just 12 years ago, and considering the entire team was very young and void of stars on the offense, I'll take a sun bowl bid any day.
I will not take 10 win basketball seasons though. Capel has got to go.
Okay bub...whatever you say.
Question: if capel is fired will you still be an OU basketball fan? For all we know you are an aggie who desires capel to stay in Norman for a long time, kind of like I wanted sean sutton to stay in stillwater forever.
Considering your Capel took the basketball program to the post season and John Blake didn't for football, you still can't get things right. Just cuz they coached at Oklahoma (different sports) doesn't mean you can compare them.
Both turned winning top 20 (football was top 10 at the time) programs into losing programs with multiple losing seasons (after this year is complete) and both made said program the doormat of the conference. They are very comparable.
