I doubt it would matter to me.

The only place I would maybe draw the line is if the kid has a parent, sibling, or maybe a grandparent that gets really sick, AND THE KID TRANSFERS HOME.

The rest of it, sit out your year.

The NCAA will look the other way and do nothing to KU for 5 level 1 violations of cheating. Yet, they’ll turn around and deny a transfer request. That’s the NCAA.

Meechie Johnson (Ohio State) - #126 NATL in the 2020 class. Averaged only 4.4 ppg last season though.

Corey Floyd, Jr (UCONN) - RSed this last season. #93 NATL in 2022 class

Brandin Podziemski (Illinois) - #109 NATL in 20201 class. Didn't play much last season.

UNC, and former Marquette, F/C Dawson Garcia just entered the portal. I assume he's going back home to Minnesota so that he can apply for a waiver based on some family health issues. I remember him being a good player for Marquette but kind of skipped his brief UNC time.

Yeah, he had family health issues and basically quit the team in February. It was a biggerish story here around the Triangle. Everyone knew he was gone. I bet he might regret it not being on their team going to the FF and making that run.
