would be a great back up big .. and has 3 years to play ..
Really need some beef around the basket. A strong banger, muscle guy.
Certainly lacking on this years team.
Even a guy like Krutwig at Loyola, who was a big body inside, could step out and hit the shot or three, and pass efficiently from the wing or high post.
Krutwig was a very good passer out of the high post but he was not a shooter at all ..
he took 3 3's in his college career and none in the last 2 seasons ..
he was an in the paint scorer ..

In the paint maybe as all around the paint. My point is he was more Jokic/Embiid, where he's catching the ball face up as much/more than just dumping the ball down low, ala Shaq or Ewing.
Here is a scouting report quote when they played in the NCAAs
"Loyola uses the 250-pound Krutwig similar to Moses Wright, stationing him either at the top of the key or in the high post extended area. He takes 30.5 percent of his team’s shots, making him the highest-usage player Georgia Tech has faced all season. He has smooth feet, doesn’t get rushed, and uses his body well to create angles for his left-handed shot. He’s also a gifted passer, with a vaguely Jokic-esque ability to lead teammates off cuts."
Moser's offense for centers is more Jokic than Shaq.

Yeah, a strong inside guy on the blocks sounds really nice, but keep in mind, that style of big man doesn't really fit Moser's offensive schemes of five out/high post sets. Even a guy like Krutwig at Loyola, who was a big body inside, could step out and hit the shot or three, and pass efficiently from the wing or high post.
A guy like Tanner Groves or Ryan Spangler is more of a fit than Tayshawn Thomas, or a name mentioned earlier, Bryan Sallier. Tanner, in size and position, fits Moser's offense well, we just need him to be more physical and aggressive when in the paint.
In conference play, he played more like a stretch 4 than a C and he's not near athletic enough to play the 4.
Who would he back up?
it would be a massive upset / shock to have anyone other than Tanner start at C
