Dexter Dennis is visiting Indiana and Clemson next week. Also has been contacted by a little program called Kansas. I guess someone needs to tell Self that a great athlete who is a phenomenal defender isn’t worth it since he isn’t a good shooter.

That wasn't me, but he is from Fort Worth...think about this lineup:

Sherfield
Bamisile
Noland
Hill
Groves

Scoring would not be an issue. If Hill had a really good PG, he might score 15+ a night. Great cutter, great hands, and great finisher. He just needs someone to create the opportunity.

Dennis is a great athlete and he’s had his moments but he’s kind of a head case and he’s been wildly inconsistent for the last 2 years. It wouldn’t bother me if he ended up at KU because they can do waaaaaaaay better.

His shooting isn’t great but I can’t overstate enough how athletic he is and what a fantastic defender he is. If he ends up at another Big 12 school, everyone will wonder why we can’t get guys like him.

He disappears way too much against far less competition in the American. He lost his starting job and has been a backup since then. He wouldn’t see the floor at KU unless they lose their top 10 players.

No offense but I’ll assume Self knows his roster better than you and wouldn’t contact him if he didn’t think he would contribute. And he started and played 31 minutes per game.

Yeah, Mike Davis’s son. The kid also prepped in Texas. He’s a John Lucas kid so Kentucky is in play, Louisville, KState, and Oklahoma may be. Anyone who has with that crew and WWW. Of course dad will probably play a role. I suspect he has to show he can get it done on a higher level.

That has to be good for ISU potentially having future teammates come in together to see the program. Good strategy I think.
