I know, i'm not down on anybody. Just an anxious basketball recruiting fan like everyone else. I'm not saying they are, but no way Tech should be getting better players in ANYTHING over OU.

They did get better players from the portal last off-season and they appear to be doing better so far this year, though it's too early to call this race yet.

Why? They are putting a really good product on the floor and getting support. Two things OU hasn't been doing.

Supposedly, there's some NIL stuff brewing with the Native Americans where B-Ball players could get up to $5,000 a month. We'll see if it comes to fruition. I know football has something coming. Hoping B-Ball is looped in.

Eh. They're paying players simple as that. Texas Tech is getting some of the best of the best out there transfer wise. Not because of their institution, or great basketball standing. Their coach either. Guy just started coaching as an HC for the first time this year.

Yeah, but OU needs some instant impact guys. Not guys that come in, play 10 minutes top and look confused on the B-Ball court.
