He has pulled the Bob Stoops strategy for getting a raise out of Mizzou. I don't blame them for being pissed at his yearly dalliances with other schools. However, I don't remotely see him in trouble with job security as he is recruiting great and can coach. He underachieved this year no doubt but I don't see him in any significant trouble.
 
I seriously have to question anyone who follows Greg Swaim on twitter.

"Much" better? The guy has only won 1 NCAA tournament game. And the majority of those guys were Sutton's players.

I'll give you that he's a better coach, but I think its much, much closer than you are implying.

I would compare it more to Kelvin Sampson than Stoops simply because every year Kelvin was negotiating until at some point Joe told him we weren't paying any more. Either take it or leave it.

I can't remember if it was the Texas or Illinois flirtations but one of these really hurt Kelvin's standing with the fans/alums. I think he won back some of those fans, but I know a number of people who never got over it.

Hillbilly Ford belongs at OSU. Like I said back in December, they are terrible and he's a hick.

OU is in much better shape than OSU. Even without a coach we have a better program than them.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

People forget that this was only Ford's 3rd season at OSU. The most telling season for coaches ability to run a program will be the 4th season. That's the point where they have all of "their guys" who have been running only one system for the entire time they've been there.

Capel crashed and burned to a 4-win conference slate and a losing season in his fourth year - a year that was so bad it required a blow-up of the roster and a start-from-scratch year in his 5th year.

Do you really think that next year, with what OSU has coming back and coming in, that we'll only win 4 conference games and have a losing record?

Do you think that OSU will be blowing up and starting from scratch at the end of next season?

Anything is possible, but I seriously doubt it.

It's not even close! He constantly looks like he's got an inferiority complex and that is the classic OSU alumni/fan psychosis!!!
