Trinity Oliver to Baylor

(sigh) … Sorry, Syb, but I never learned how to skate. You clearly detest anything Baylor and that’s fine. Yet you have fired off assertions in this thread that are not supported by the facts: The ESPN WBB press hates BU? Baylor covered up murder? OU fired K.Sampson for illegal texting? Nope, nope and nope. If you want to completely dismiss the USNWR listings regarding BU’s standing, go right ahead.
1. USNWR is not how academia ranks universities. I don't even know why they print their lists.

2. When the Baylor player killed another player, what was the first reaction?
3. Has Voepel ever retracted her column on what she thought of Mulkey? Did she not write the column? Just because she doesn't write the same column on a daily basis, you think she now loves Mulkey?
4. Sampson was fired for what? I think I stated (without looking back) for making 550 phone calls (not texts). At the time, the story came out that if he had texted 550 times, it would have been legal.

You don't see a pattern of behavior by Baylor, a part of which is Mulkey? Kim looked the other way when her players committed some atrocious behavior. She "didn't see it." If the NCAA didn't get involved, she didn't punish it. Did she punish Griner for elbowing McFarland? Did she punish Williams for pulling hair? Did she punish her team for leaving the bench during a fight---which should have resulted in a suspension for three players and a coach? Do we have to list every crime? Now, we have sex crimes that go unreported because they were committed by athletes?

You think this is acceptable?

While it's clear that some on OUHoops despise Baylor and consider it a disgusting institution, the recent U.S. News and World Report 2017 College Rankings provide another perspective. Baylor ranked #71, not exactly something to crow about, but the second-highest ranking Big 12 school behind UT at #41. OU came in at #111.

You need to be a bit better informed and do MUCH better analysis before you try to provide support for your positions, piker.

Here is a quiz to get you started.

Which University in the state of Oklahoma kept being listed in the USNWP list for several years after the school went out of existence? Think about it. They were being listed as a good place to send your kids - when they no longer existed!
