Brothers Woodard clash at the LNC.

Hope we can get some fans at the game...

Hope they promote the game hard around Norman as the students will be gone.

They promoted the heck out of the girls game today!

I'm sure Duke has been 2-6 at some point.

They like to play musical chairs w/their rotation and are rather poor freethrow shooters.

A lot of bad teams will do this. You're constantly searching for something that works and often having to sit guy as teaching moments.

I think Manning is going to flame out there. He hasn't shown he can recruit well enough to overcome the fact that at this point, he is a rather mediocre teacher and game day coach. You can't be below average on both, and have a good team. I think folks thought he would be able to recruit, and that hasn't shown up yet.

I also think they have passed on some local kids who could have helped there.

This. I really thought Tulsa should have made a run at Bob Hoffman. Oklahoma guy, very good basketball coach, has won a lot at the low level, mid major, and was a great assistant for OU.

Totally agree! I think TU laid all their eggs in 'he would be able to recruit' basket. Big mistake IMO.

This appears to be the case so far - still a bit early thought to make that definitive of a statement/judgment.

Woodard and Smith (6'7" forward) are TU's best players. Woodard plays the 2 or 3 and is very streaky. He's also their leading rebounder. Smith is an athletic forward who can hit a perimeter jumper as well as slash to the bucket. TU hasn't gotten anything out of the center position and are a poor shooting and rebounding team. Spangler should have a big game.

OU 83
TU 69

Clarkson leaving killed this team. Avg 16-17+ at Missouri.
